The University of Liverpool’s Leahurst campus is home to one of the UK’s top veterinary colleges. In this series, adventurer Ben Fogle goes behind the scenes of the campus’s three state-of-the-art operating theatres and recovery facilities to follow the daily dramas that come with treating the 10,000 sick animals that come through the doors every year.
|S01E01||Episode 1||23/10/2012||At Leahurst's equine hospital, surgeon Debbie Archer is coming to the end of her shift as emergency is rushed in. Millie, a family's pet horse, is suffering from the life-threatening condition of colic.|

|S01E03||Episode 3||07/02/2014||Alex and Shelley are getting ready for a visit from one of their favourite patients which is an over weight bassett hound called Charlie, who has been on a strict weight loss programme for around four months. Neil is greeting his first patient of the day a horse called Monte who needs surgery on his seriously infected sinuses.|

Neil helps Chester Zoo's vet with one of their rarest creatures, an onager named Sophie who is off her food.|

|S02E03||Episode 3||07/02/2014||It is lambing season and farm vet Jo Oultram is called to help a heavily pregnant ewe that has been finsing it hard to give birth. An overweight Newfoundland named Ella is brought in to Leahurst's obesity clinic after after having been overfed.|
|S02E04||Episode 4||07/02/2014||Jo needs to work quickly to save the life of a dairy cow suffering with a twisted stomach. Peter operates on a miniature schnauzer and the small eyes of a capuchin monkey.|
|S02E05||Episode 5||27/11/2013||Lindsey attempts to help with a Chinese crested dog with a swollen womb whilst a cat called Miffy needs to have an eye removed. A rat called Marge has lost its sense of balance.|
