Chuno follows the story of Lee Dae Gil, a man of high birth whose family was ruined when Won Ki Yoon, a slave, burnt down his house and escaped with his sister, Un Nyun, who was in love with Dae Gil. Driven by his desire for revenge, he survived his harsh years on the street and made his name as a slave hunter, dedicated in his pursuit to find Un Nyun, his first and unique love. Song Tae Ha is a General of the Army who became a slave after being falsely accused of a crime he did not commit. He ran away from this unfair condition. Then, Dae Gil, as slave hunter, pursues Tae Ha across the Kingdom of Great Joseon (Korean empire), also under the yoke of the Qing dynasty. Both men become entangled in a love triangle with Un Nyun, the runaway slave who became a nobleman's daughter, and changed her name for Kim Hye Won.

S01E18 Episode Eighteen 04/03/2010 Execution day. Both Tae-ha and Dae-gil are sentenced to die since they failed to reveal the whereabouts of the Crown Prince and follow orders.
S01E19 Episode Nineteen 10/03/2010 While trying to escape to keep the Crown Prince safe, Hye-won gets caught by officers because they are suspicious that she is carrying the Crown Prince.
S01E20 Episode Twenty 11/03/2010 In order to keep the Crown Prince safe, Dae-gil guides them into the deep mountains, where his slave hunting comrade lives in a village surrounded by other slave hunters.
S01E21 Episode Twenty-one 17/03/2010 Dae-gil is now reunited again with his chuno brothers, General Choi and Wang-son. A welcoming festivity is prepared for Dae-gil and the rest of his crew.
S01E22 Episode Twenty-two 18/03/2010 The Qing Emperor sends his soldiers to the small village to get the Crown Prince so that they can take him back to Qing for his safety.
S01E23 Episode Twenty-three 24/03/2010 Since both Dae-gil and Tae-ha are both wanted alive in the capital city, they try to find a way to escape and get back to the village to send the Crown Prince to Qing along with the Qing Emperor.
S01E24 Episode Twenty-four 25/03/2010 Eop-bok discovers that the leader of their revolution regime used them as part of their scheme to get rid of certain people that the Left Prime Minister did not want around.
