S01E108 Zelda: Majora's Mask 01/08/2015 In this episode we take a look at the secrets and history of The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. Majora's Mask first appeared in the media in May 1999, when Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu stated that a long-planned Zelda expansion for the 64DD was underway. This project was tentatively titled "Ura Zelda", and would take Ocarina of Time and alter the levels to be more challenging. Majora's Mask emerged from this project, and was ultimately released as a stand-alone Nintendo 64 title in the year 2000.

The game was later revealed to be Metal Gear Solid V, developed by Kojima Productions. Metal Gear Solid V is an open world action-adventure stealth video game, and serves as a sequel to Ground Zeroes. Heroes of Might and Magic is a strategy game series originally created and developed by Jon Van Caneghem through New World Computing. Wario first appeared on the Nintendo Game Boy with Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins as the main antagonist. Originally portrayed as an exaggerated version of Mario, his name is a portmanteau of Mario's name and the Japanese word warui , meaning "bad". Wario was first designed by Hiroji Kiyotake, and is voiced by Charles Martinet, who also voices many other characters in the series. Wario later became the protagonist of the Wario Land and WarioWare series.

The game was released in 2006, and was included as a pack-in game with the Wii console in all territories besides Japan and South Korea. Wii Sports is the second best-selling video game of all time, behind Tetris, and is the best-selling game of all time for a single platform. It was released for the PlayStation 2 in 2006, the Nintendo Wii in 2008, and a high-definition port of the game was released on the PlayStation 3 in 2012. The game originally suffered from poor sales, but received critical acclaim and eventually performed well enough to receive a sequel for the Nintendo DS titled Okamiden. The bulk of the game's work was done by Fox, with additional artwork by Temmie Chang. The game received acclaim from video game critics, with particular praise for its writing and characters. Undertale appeared 9th on the video games list in Time's "Top 10 Everything of 2015". It also appeared on best-of lists for GameSpot and The Escapist. As a result of the game's large fanbase in 2015, Undertale reached the first place in GameFAQs' "Best. Game. Ever." userpoll, winning against The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

The series was initially based on Digital Devil Story by Aya Nishitani, but has become its own entity in the years since. Most of the early titles have not been localized in the west due to religious influences which can be controversial in western video games. Games under the SMT label have sold over 13 million units.

SpongeBob SquarePants is an animated series created by marine biologist and animator Stephen Hillenburg. The series' popularity has made it a giant media franchise which has generated $8 billion in merchandising revenue for Nickelodeon and has even been referenced by Super Smash Bros Melee and Brawl creator Masahiro Sakurai. Numerous video games based on the animation have been produced such as Battle for Bikini Bottom, which was eventually added to the PlayStation 2 (PS2) Greatest Hits collection by Sony. It's engine and assets also served as the engine basis for a video game based on the The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie. Video Games based on SpongeBob have sold over 30 million units combined and have appeared on everything from mobile to PC. The gameplay shown is from the Nintendo Gamecube (GCN) version Battle for Bikini Bottom.

The Nintendo 3DS is a handheld game console by Nintendo, and is the successor to the Nintendo DS (NDS). The system is capable of displaying stereoscopic 3D and has received several revisions such as the Nintendo 3DS XL, the Nintendo 2DS and the New Nintendo 3DS. The console's price was reduced from $249 to $169 amid disappointing launch sales. Nintendo offered free Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) and Game Boy Advance (GBA) games from the eShop through emulated gameplay to consumers who bought the system at the original launch price. This move paid off, as the Nintendo 3DS systems combined have sold over 60 million units. We hope our analysis of the 3DS explained the inner workings of device and its games.

A remake of the original game, Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, was released on PC (Windows 10) and Xbox One. The series' third sequel, Gears of War 4, continues the story of Marcus Fenix but focuses on his son, JD. Gears of war and its gameplay became popular because of its solo and co-op campaign, which guided the series' development. The series' multiplayer later became popular, which pushed the game's PC gaming presence and allowed players to experience the game before release through open beta.

S01E200 Pokemon Stadium (N64) 26/12/2016 With the recent release of Pokemon Sun and Moon, Did You Know Gaming decides to look at some Easter eggs, facts, secrets, and history of Pokémon Stadium. The Pokemon Stadium games are Pokemon spin-offs for the Nintendo 64 that retain the series' core RPG gameplay. The first Stadium game was released in 1999 in Japan, and 2000 in North America, Australia and Europe. Although this is the first Stadium title in Western regions, it's actually a sequel to the 1998 Nintendo 64 game Pocket Monsters Stadium, which was only released in Japan. Through our analysis, we show that this Japane exclusive was intended to be released for the 64DD during its beta, and how the spin-off's surfing Pikachu and Raichu inspired the alolan Raichu design. Pokemon Stadium 2 was released in English-speaking regions in 2000 in Japan, and 2001 elsewhere, and focused on the second Pokemon generations. All three games allowed connectivity with the Game Boy Pokemon games, such as Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver and Crystal (though the latter three were only compatible with Stadium 2).
