In New York’s war on animal abuse, some of the worst offenders are pursued by a group of tattooed motorcycle-riding tough guys on a mission to save animals in danger. They call themselves Rescue Ink, and these are their stories.
|S01E01||It's A Cruel Cruel World||25/09/2009||Rescue Ink comes to the assistance of a U.S. war veteran and his pit bulls; the guys are called in on a wild hen (and rooster!) chase in Queens; and they confront a man accused of shooting stray cats with a pellet gun.|
|S01E02||Desperate Dogs||02/10/2009||Rescue Ink receives a tip about a man allegedly mistreating his young dog. The guys drop by unexpectedly and find the mans puppy living in a basement in deplorable conditions. The team is contacted by New York Animal Care and Control about an unusual case. Rescue Ink comes face to face with a school of illegally-owned flesh-eating piranhas. Rescue Ink investigates a home where two dogs are chained up and basically ignored. The older dog, a Rottweiler, is suffering from exposure and malnutrition. One Rescue Ink member bonds with the Rottie - but will the dog pull through and learn to trust people again?|
|S01E03||Street Rules||09/10/2009||A call comes in to Rescue Inks clubhouse from a distraught woman who claims that her neighbor is trapping, torturing and killing animals. The SPCA and the police have worked tirelessly to build a case against the accused man, but proving serial animal cruelty requires unquestionable evidence that can be hard to come by. Rescue Ink joins the effort to stop this man once and for all. When a deaf womans dog is stolen during a string of burglaries in a Queens neighborhood, the guys take it personally. Along with the cops, they hit the street to catch up with the burglars and find the missing dog. A family down on their luck fears theyll have to give up their two dogs both big and powerful breeds that have outgrown the family home. Rescue Ink drums up donations and builds a warm, secure doghouse so the family can keep their pets.|
|S01E04||Bad Reputation||16/10/2009||Recently, pit bulls have become synonymous with dogfighting and animal attacks, and it's the Rescue Ink guys' personal mission to help redeem these controversial dogs. In this episode, they'll divide and conquer, travelling out of their normal New York territory to help pit bulls in need. When a pit pull is found hung in a Philadelphia schoolyard, team members search for the killer. Then Joe and G fly to Kentucky to airlift a badly injured dog, fresh from the fighting ring, back to New York.|
|S01E05||Rebels With A Cause||30/10/2009||Rescue Ink investigates a bulldog breeder who allegedly sells sick puppies to unsuspecting families, a friend wants the guys to investigate young horses that he believes may be sold for slaughter, and Joe's calling in favors for an unusual mission: finding a new home for a group of homing pigeons. Then, when a local organization donates an old ambulance to the gang, Batso and Big Ant convert the run-down vehicle into a true hot rod that will help raise awareness for their cause.|
